Why does Low MPG display on my 2005 Honda Accord Hybrid?
What could be the problem with my car if the dash marks 8-15 mpg? The car was bought like 2 months ago, it was a salvage title, and that is all I know as far as that goes. Is there anywhere I can take it where they can check it for free? Like AutoZone?

There could be a number of things wrong, if you are misfiring this will cause you're miles per gallon to go down tremendously, another thing is is your o2 sensor is located in your exhaust system, this sensor will tell your engine if is running too rich or poor, depending on what it is running it will either give more gas or less gas, which will affect your miles per gallon.
Not much anyone can do for free. They will read your OBDII codes and try to sell you what they can come up with in their computer to eliminate any of the codes.

- How to drive a honda civic hybrid car with out hybrid battery? Bought a car about 4 months ago and the battery is now dead. I check to make sure its not the normal battery and Auto Zone said it was fine. I'm sure its the hybrid battery but i don't have the money to pay 1,000 or more for a battery on a car i just spent money on. Is there a way you can drive this car without the hybrid battery? Or dose anyone know a place to get these batteries cheaper?
