Why is there a constant high and low idle on my 92 honda accord during winter?

It only happens in winter and it's annoying. You start the car and the rpm rises to about 2000 rpm and drops to 800 and then repeat till the car is like fully war or not. It doesn't happen in hot days. Is it something woth the throttle body?

2000rpm is a lot for the engine to rev on its own. It might be worth a call to the dealership or your car forum to see if it happens with anybody else… It is completely normal for a car to rev up and down a little when starting up in cold. Say about 200 revs above the normal idle…

It's either the FITV (Fast Idle Thermal Valve) or the IACV (Idle Air Control Valve) or something as simple as air in the cooling system so your fast idle control circuit need to be check out. Try some of the ideas in this link:

Just clean out the iacv. Start there. Take a few minutes if you have a 12 mm wrench and bottle of carb cleaner.
