Why won't my 95 honda accord start d4 light was flashing also idled up and dwn?
The d4 light start flashing. I've changed the value gaske, spark plugs, wires, air filter. Wat could it be it my first honda and i'm not a mechanic… Thanks in advance.
When the D4 shift indicator flashes it means you have a transmission code and one of the electronic solenoids or sensors are bad. This puts the vehicle in fail safe mode and all you have now is 3rd and reverse gears. All Honda's have a common issue with the valves getting tight. If you are not going to have a mechanic diagnose your problem I'd start by adjusting the valves. It needs it anyway and you might get lucky.
D4 is a transmission problem, check trans oil, get codes, could be faulty solenoid. Does it even allow you to move the shifter?
IAC (Idle Air Control) valve is faulty when idle goes up and down.
Yeah, well. The first thing you should've done was asked around and found out what would cause these symptoms, rather than do a tune up in the hopes that would fix the problem. Good news is, you did a tune up, although I don't see anything about a rotor and cap.
The D4 light denotes a transmission problem, most likely a solenoid. I believe the light flashes in a certain sequence to give you a code, This code will point you in the right direction, Check youtube for a lot of videos dealing with this.
As for idle
Idle air control valve bad.
- Check engine light, open door light, and batterie light all came on and won't go off? 2000 Honda Odyssey I already had the altinator replaced it a month old. The batterie almost a year old. Would the belt need be changed or something else?

When checking codes by OBD II scanner, it shows P303, P304, P300 and P1399 which is misfire. Any ideas, how should I go about diagnostics. As car is pretty old, not worth of taking to mechanic Thanks in advance. It was bad battery and bad wireset combination. Replaced both, car started as before.
