Will the new 2015 golf gti be faster than my 2008 honda accord sedan?
My accord is a 177 hp, 2.5 liter engine with 5 speed automatic. The new golf gti is a 2 liter four cylinder engine with 210 horsepower. I know the accord has a more powerful engine but it is a lot heavier than the gti.
Your Accord has 2.4 liter 177 h.p. And 161 lb/ft of torque and it weighs 3,236 pounds. A 2015 Golf GTI has 200 h.p and 207 lb/ft of torque and it weighs 3.034 pounds. This would be no contest. The Golf would blow the doors off your Accord.
