Would buying this Honda accord be a good, smart purchase or look for something else?
2008 Honda Accord EX Sedan
1 owner
231K miles
"Perfect" alignment & suspension
original engine and transmission.
$6,900 firm
That's a pretty impressive price for a car with more than 200K miles on it.
I do not recommend the 2008 Accord. Honda got wild and crazy with the brake proportioning for the 2008 model year and ended up making the rear brakes wear like crazy. Many people were replacing their rear brakes when they got their oil changed… No fooling. Carcomplaints.com ranks the 2008 Accord "Avoid like the plague."
- Buying my first car and want to choose the right car I need something with a lot of room and thats safe? I've been looking at the honda crv, kia sorento, chevy traverse/equinox, acura mdx/rdx, nissan maxima and buick enclave. I really want something thats going to last atleast (6-8) years without having to replace the transmission or engine I want something very reliable and i'm willing to pay more for something that will last than having to replace major parts in a short time thanks for your help!

- How much does it cost to buy a new car and how to buy smart? I want to buy a 2014 Honda civic ex next year. The msrp is 21,880. My question is how much would the actual total cost of the car be with taxes, registration and fees, interest, etc? Also, tips and advice on how to negotiate and buy the car when I'm at the dealer would be greatly appreciated.
