Am i riding or wearing out my clutch faster?

I have the habit of driving to 5th gear then i press down the clutch put it in neutral and keep my foot down on the clutch am i causing it to ride or wear faster? I do this because i get a little too fast and there's someone in front of me so i just put it in neutral and let it roll/coast because most people are driving so slow even if i'm barely pressing on the gas from 1st to 5th gear and so when i'm slowing down naturally and need to speed up again i already have my foot on the clutch and just need to shift to the correct gear and gas and slowly release the clutch again and i'm on my way.
Also is bad to sit at a red light in first gear with the clutch in and brakes in or even in netural with the clutch in and brakes in?

i drive a 1995 honda prelude so it is a pretty light vehicle in size and picks up speed pretty fast.

You not " riding the clutch " that is something else.
No you are not wearing out the clutch. But you are putting more wear on the " throw out bearing " by holding down the clutch. But is no big deal.
Also, when you coast and push down the clutch, there's no need to put it neutral.
When you are holding down the cluch the trans is disengaged.
When you hold down the clutch at a stop light, you are just putting more wear on the " throw out bearing" When clutches are replaced you should always replace the throw out bearing also.
You can tell when the throw out being is worn, because when you press the clutch in, the throw out bearing will make a little or a lot of noise as it takes the load and turns.

You realize 4th and 5th gear are intended for highway use. 4th gear is 1:1 ratio and 5th is your overdrive gear. And coasting is dangerous. You have no power to do anything or to avoid a pothole accident or any obstruction. Even better what would happen in winter on snow and ice when you are in neutral and coasting and have no power to the drive wheels?

Keeping your foot on the clutch is putting a lot of wear on the throw out bearing. The clutch has to be removed to change the bearing.

Well, what you've been doing is dangerous. Your car can get out of control easily, also your brake's gonna overheat and brake shoes gonna run out pretty soon. Simply put off your leg from accelerator, and don't depress clutch until car is in very slow speed; apply brake as necessary. This way you'll use engine braking.

You should never keep clutch depressed for more than just to shift it will fatigue metal parts faster.

Pilot bearing, throw-out bearing, clutch disc, and pressure plate wear happens when you slip the clutch. The only time to use the clutch petal is when shifting gears.

Whenever you hold the clutch your making it wear out faster. When you shift into N take your foot off of the clutch. And coasting isn't illegal. Also if traffic is slowing down just downshift.
