Are you able to add certain things to a brand new car when you lease/finance it? - 1
In 2014 my friend financed a base model Jetta brand new red. However his model came with fog lights and LED turn signals but had hub caps. However, my other friend had a 2014 Jetta as well and had the middle trim and had no fog lights or LED turn signals but had aluminum alloy rims.
Can you add things like that to a car? I know at Honda if I wanted Fog lights on the middle trim they would ask me to upgrade entirely to the highest trim which i don't need, I just want the fog lights.
I wanted navigation as well and they said to go with the Touring but my friend who had a Maxima at Nissan had the SV base model and they allowed him to add navigation without moving up to the SL, but with Honda you gotta move up an entire trim.
Also like if I want white clothed seats instead of the black which is standard but I want to do it without moving up a trim or so
I would ask the people youre getting the car from this question
Unless it is specially ordered from the factory then the answer is generally NO because each model comes with standard trim packages and many items are not available individually on vehicles that have already been delivered to the dealerships. If you want a particular item you need to buy the car with the whole trim package that has it. Otherwise special order a car, which will cost more and take weeks or months to be delivered.
You have named 3 different car companies. Each car company has their own policy as to what the add on package will be. Some have packages and some have individual items. Each is independent of the others and sometimes the salesperson may make certain features available because they have it from the last sale as a left over item. That is why the 2 VW's are different. One salesman went by the book and the other old time salesman knew he had some flexibility in the packaging for his area.
I'm waiting for the dealer that offers the bikini babes in the commercials as part of the accessories.
- Will a car dealership work with me if I'm gonna lease a new car, while trading in the car I have, which has an outstanding loan against it? The car I have now has a loan against it which is worth more than the trade in value of the car by about $5000. If me and a family member were BOTH looking to lease a new car (so 2 new cars), does anyone know if a dealership will be working to work with me in any way? Also the cars looking to be leased are not high end or luxury cars, they d be coming from a dealership like Honda, Toyota, or Subaru.

- Can I reference a park, or a certain car brand in my novel? I'm writing a book where the charceter is on her way to a certain park, in Dana Point, and she receives an amber alert referring to a certain car type. My question is if I can name the park and car type, as actual names that exist in real life? For example I'd want to use Herritage Park, and Honda Odyssey, but I don't know if I can.
- How likely am I to be able to get finance on a motorcycle at 18? I'm currently 18 years of age and want to get a nice new 125cc (honda cbf125 or yamaha ybr125/mt125) for running around London, how likely am I to be able to get it on finance and what does it depend on? If anyone could explain this in simple terms that I d understand then I d appreciate it, I have no license yet or anything but if I'm able to sort out finance etc. Then I ll be getting my cbt done.
