Make a car payment in cash at any location?

I'm currently fighting with my bank because they closed my account and there's a process to go through to get it back. I will need to make a car payment before I might get my access back. Can I go into any Honda dealership and make my payment in cash? I have the money, but it won't go through my account right now.

Ask Honda. We have no idea.

Call the dealership and ask. I doubt it because the finance source could be anyone. Did you finance it through Honda Credit?

You most likely will need to buy a money order or cashier check and mail in your payment.

The dealership has no involvement. They have sold your contract to the lender. If American Honda Finance is your lender, pay them.

Go to the main post office and ask for a money order in the amount you have to pay the dealership. You will be paying the post office in cash. There will be a fee. Copy the money order after you fill it out (for your own files) and then give the original to the dealership.

Probably not. A Honda dealership is an independent franchised company that has no further responsibility for your loan.

You will have to contact the company servicing your loan. If they have an office near you, you could pay it there. If not, you may have to mail a check (or money order) to the company that services your loan. They won't take cash sent through the mail.

The dealership didn't finance your car the bank did, If you have the money go to the post office and get a money order, keep the receipt and mail the payment in along with a note of the banking issue
