Car battery float charger goes straight to float mode though battery is dead?
I recently purchased a Stanley 6v float charger because my 2 year old honda battery died
pretty sure the battery was the problem since the car started fine with a jumpstart but when i took the battery out the car and plugged the charger on it, went straight to green light/charged/float mode on LED display
ever seen that happen or know what's going on maybe? I'm gunna leave it plugged in over night on float mode and hope for the best
A Honda car that runs on 6 volts? Thought they were all 12 volts. Maybe that could be why it doesn't work?
Sorry, I meant to say 6amp not volt, it says it does vehicles with 12v batteries

- Prius: Can someone explain the power usage meter & specific difference between power mode and Eco mode? My brother just got me a Prius to replace my old beater Honda and I'm having difficulty understanding the power usage meter (meter on dash with "Charge-Eco-Power") and the difference in the Eco & Power modes. I do understand the charge bit on the meter.
- My motorcycle won't move out of neutral and the battery is dead? So I didn't have gas and killed the battery trying to start it so when I press the button no click and the kill switch is off so I tried to roll it down my driveway and pop the clutch but now it won't move from neutral it's a 2003 Honda shadow ace 750
- I have a 1996 Honda Shadow ACE. It won't start even though the battery is charged. What can I do? I just got the battery charged and the bike still won't start. I can hear it trying but it just won't catch. I know very little about engines but could it be the fuel pump or carburetor that needs to be cleaned or replaced. If so, how do I do that?
- Bought a 1985 Honda inspector kid told me it needed new battery but started with jump got new battery and it was dead next day? Pretty sure its the alternator just wanted some second opinions also I got the bike for 600 dollars you guys think thats a good deal
