Honda Civic: Compactness, Beauty & Intelligence All in One

The Honda Civic is a line of both subcompact and compact automobiles dating back to 1973 when a model featuring a four-cylinder engine and front power disc brakes was manufactured. Since then on, the Honda Civic has gone through 8 generations of vehicles.

The 9th generation Honda Civic initially released in the April of 2011 is a high-tech model since it uses an innovative Eco Assist Technology which is used for assisting the driver in adopting a more fuel-efficient style of driving. As a result, fuel economy increases by approximately 10 percent.

No matter what modification buyers choose, they get a model with such standard features as VSA (Vehicle Stability Assistance), ABS (Anti-Lock Brake System) and EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution). Models are equipped with a powerful engine ranging from 1.4 to 2.4 L including 1.6 or 2.2 L turbodiesel versions and a 1.5 L hybrid modification. Transmission types include 5-speed manual, 5-speed automatic, 6-speed manual, and CVT.

Honda offers both gasoline and natural gas versions along with a hybrid version slotted in-between. As for body style, a two-door coupe, four-door sedan, and five-door hatchback are available.
