1996 Honda civic has 220,000 miles. Should I get it?
Neighbor wanted $ 1500 but needs cash fast, so he's currently at $ 1000. It's a daily commute for him, drives it every day. I'm going to test drive her tomorrow and have my mechanic uncle check it out, give me a diagnostic. I'm just asking, is it even worth wasting my time? Do these things last? How reliable are these things past 200,000 miles? Any additional info will help, thanks!
Thats an old car and has ALOT of miles.
I have a civic 2000 ex and i bought it about 5 months ago for $2000. And it only had 162000 miles. So compared to your deal, i got a better deal, know what i mean?
I think hes over charging id pay 1200 at most for that. And it has to be in really good condition. (Good tires, healthy engine, no gringing, original parts)
I'm currently selling my 1997 Accord with 136K on it for $1000 to my mechanic and he is thrilled to get it. Your mileage seems a bit high for the money. Just saying…
I'd buy it if it is the EX model, in excellent shape and checks out with your uncle.
- Would you purchase a 2004 Honda pilot for $6,000.000 that has 216,000 miles on it? I'm just browsing online looking at cars for sale and a lot of them have 200k or more miles on them and they want $4,000 or more. Why do people sale their cars for such a high price with a lot of miles on them? Its not just Hondas its all types of cars private and dealers as well
- 2008 Honda Fit with 66,000 miles on it for $5,000? Is this a good deal? I need to buy a new car and today I got an offer on a 2008 Honda Fit with 66,000 miles on it for $5,000. I'm a 19 year old girl and I know nothing about cars D: Are Honda Fits good cars? Should I buy this with so many miles already on it? Also, I like to travel. Will this car be safe to drive long distances?
- When should a 2012 Honda Civic need its transmission fluid changed, or serviced? The vehicle has 83,000 miles? Lots of highway driving for a three year old car. Drives perfectly, no problems, just trying to look ahead.
- Should i replace my 08 civic water pump if it has 112,000 miles? I have a 2008 Honda civic lx and it has 112,000 miles. Some of my friends say to replace the water pump and others say just wait until I see any leaks or hear any noises. Right now my car is running pretty good and there's no leak and my car is not over heating. So what should I do?
