2000 honda civic lx 5speed transmission leak?
I have a 2000 honda civic lx 5speed today i notice that is leaking a lot of transmission fluid i'm not sure where exactly is leaking it from but can someone point out all the possible seal in the transmission where.it can be leaking it from? Pictures would help out alot
Well you have two axle seals/ the transmission case is a two piece case with a silicone bead that runs around it. If its leaking between the two cases the transmission has to come apart and for that you'll need to see a transmission shop. Find local shop at ATRA.COM for more help. But for this transmission those the major seals for it

- Water leak 98 honda civic ek? I've had a leak in the passenger side floor now for some time and can't figure it out. Its not the sun roof or anywhere near the glove box. Its just the floor going from the front passenger and all the way back, basically just one hole side is soaked anytime it rains. Anybody have any idea/has anyone had the same problem? Also the boot area is damp as well.
