2001 Honda Civic EX A/C works but?

My cars A/C works but the air conditioning isn't blowing hard or circulating around the car because of lack of air coming out.

Air conditiong units are a speciality that some shops will work on, so you may need to find a shop to help you… May be just a lack of freon, since the vehicle is 17 YO

The A/C has a compressor in the engine compartment. It also has a fan in the inside duct which circulates the air. Your blower fan sounds as though it is not blowing properly. The easiest thing to do is to replace the fan relay and check to see that the fuse is not blown. If these are O.K., you may need to replace the blower. Normally, to access the blower you have to pull the glove compartment. It is often behind there. I would check on youtube to see if they have your model car and a video on how to replace the blower.

Replace the cabin filter first if the car has a cabin filter. No joy, there could be an issue with the blower or blower circuit. If the blower works only at max speed, the resistor module or resistor pack could have failed. See a mechanic.

Repair honda civic AC.

Hi so it is truly amazing what some expect from what is essentially an old car that has lived twice as long as it was supposed to. 8 years was the life expectancy. So now it should be either being scrapped and turned into beer cans. The alternative is going to to be extremely expensive.

First as above replace cabin filters ( look on youtube, just two filters behind glove box not a hard do it yourself most auto part stores will carry, replacements) and if your car is that old and it has not been done recently recharge your AC system say $100 to $150 most shops
