2001 Honda Civic Gas Smell?
Added (1). My Honda Civic has a gasoline smell especially when the AC is on. I can smell it inside the car. I've checked for leaks and don't see any. A mechanic checked too and did not see a leak near the engine. I haven't noticed a difference in gas mileage at all. It smells stronger near the actual gas tank. Any ideas?
If you've said: "It smells stronger near the actual gas tank." then it has fuel leak around the tank, the fuel pump gasket, the fuel pump hoses or nipples. Need to inspect and find out.

- Smell gas inside car? 92 honda civic? I have a slight gas smell coming from the cab of my car. Its a 92 civix dx sedan.
