2001 honda civic lx 4dr. Temperature gauge went up to hot maximum for about 5 minutes then went back down to normal position. Why?
Driving only 15 minutes at 35 mph when this happened on temp gauge what seems to be the problem? This is the first time this occurred.
Either sticking thermostat or faulty temp gauge.
Make sure that you do not need to add water/ coolant to the radiator.
Have you even checked the coolant level to see if it's low?
Check the coolant level. If it is low, check for a leak. If the coolant level is ok, bleed the coolant and drive to see if the issue goes away. See a garage if the issue does not go away.
- Why does my atv run for 10 minutes then stall and die? Just put a brand new carburetor on my 2006 Honda trx. It will crank on the first try no problem. After riding it and it getting hot the bike dies? Why is this?
- Why does my car temperature rise when I idle but when i drive it, it's goes back to normal? So I started noticing this problem 2 days ago. I thought I fixed it by refilling the coolant. It was working fine till today again. When I stop on a cross street or I idle, the temperature slowly rises up to the "H" but once I accelerate or move the car, it slowly goes back to normal. My A.c works perfectly either way. What could be the problem? How much would it cost? It's a 2005 Honda civic ex.
- Why does my car engine rev up and down? It revs up and down all the way up to 3x rpm and down? Also when i step on the gas pedal it revs up all the way to the top 8x rpm and stays right there even when i let go of the gas pedal. Please anyone who can tell me why this happens? This is a 1995 honda civic by the way
