2002 honda civic lx coolant spraying out of radiator cap?

Brought to midas they replaced every part that would cause overheating. Told them about this but fixed fan and coolant fan part, but didn't fix this problem. Any ideas why its spraying out?

Funny they didn't bother checking the least expensive thing first - typical for the Midas chop-shop.

Thermostat is the first thing to look at.

Possible head gasket leak. They make kits to test for this, or you can do cylinder compression tests.

Duh. Why not replace radiator cap first. Maybe just bad cap gasket (seal).

Classic Honda Civic head gasket problem, it was epidemic for that era.

Civics of those years = blown head gaskets

You either need a new pressure cap, or you have a blown head gaskit

  • Why is the coolant from my radiator disappearing? (1998 Honda Prelude with a Jackson Racing supercharger) I replaced my old radiator because it cracked one day and was leaking. Before it had no problems as far as it just disappearing. I replaced my oem radiator for a Mishimoto radiator and ever since then it started disappearing.
  • 2006 Honda Odyssey windshield washer fluid not spraying? Sprayers are not spraying in the front or the rear. One pump runs both ends. I can hear the pump kick on. Pulled a hose off one side of the pump and had someone activate the pump. Pump sprays without the hose hooked up. I don't see any krimped areas in the hose that I can see (front sprayers). Any ideas? Could the pump just be too week to spray through the hoses? Ps I unplugged a hose under the hood and still no fluid.
  • Accidentally Took out the wrong engine cap in my Motorcycle while trying to drain the Engine Oil? My Motorcycle is a Honda XRM. I was trying to change engine oil but opened a different screw/cap just beside the engine oil drain.A 5 inch long spring and a rod with holes came out, i put it back the way i think it should be, then opened the Drain cap, drained the engine oil and filled it with new oil. But when i start the motorcycle it sounded like there's something loose moving inside the engine. What is the rod and spring that came out? Is it critical?
