2003 Honda civic si VS 2001 Mustang gt?
I have a 03 honda civic and I want to race my friend at the track. Ill be going up against his 2001 mustang gt. We both have the same mods done to our car. Do i have a pretty good chance at beating him?
Maybe if the track has short straights. You're talking about your four against an eight. Is yours a manual and do you really know how to drive it. If his is an automatic, maybe you might have a chance. A v-eight without mods should be able to smoke a four.

It all depends on the track!
While a lot depends on the driver- if all other factors are the same then it boils down to the course.
For example I had a Corolla that when the course was tight with short straights could hold its own against any car and many times win. But if the straights were long enough for other cars to use the additional horse power it was history. Meaning if the straight was such that I got up to 85 before needing to brake for the turn my advantage was gone.
I personally think you will be looking at taillights.

- 2015 Mustang V6 or 2013 Mustang GT? All spoiled rich kid comments aside, I have been saving money for 2 years and it is time for me to get a new car. Just taking a public survey, but should I get a 2015 Mustang V6, or a 2013 Mustang GT? Both cars are right in my price range. I'm driving a honda civic now so either car will be a dramatic increase power for me. The 2015 styling is awesome, but the 2013 still looks good and i would have the intense power of a V8! I need help deciding!
