2004 Honda Civic all four cylinders are misfiring?
My check engine light came on yesterday and it has the codes p0300, p0301, p0302, p0303, p0304 these codes repeat for a total of 8 codes. What can cause this
All 4 cylinders would suggest the coil / distributor / or the HT lead between them. Is the weather damp? That shows up problems with old ignition leads.
Your car is 11 years old and more than likely has over 100,000 miles on the odometer. Start by replacing all the spark plugs. If the problem is not solved replace the spark plug wires. If that does not solve the problem then seek professional help.
- 2000 Manual Honda CRV misfiring? Earlier today my CRV misfired on my way home, while I was trying to get it going in first. Once the blinking engine light turned on I pulled over and turned the car off. A couple minutes later I turned the car back on and it seemed fine. I had to drive 2 hours back home and it sounded fine and no lights came on. Do I still need to take it to the mechanic?
