2006 Honda Civic vs 2007 Toyota Camry?
2006 Honda Civic vs 2007 Toyota Camry?
Added (1). I'm currently looking at two different cars? Generaly speaking- which car is normally best to go with? The Toyota has about 42,000 less miles than the Honda. The Toyota is also about a 1000 more. As of right now, I'm leaning more towards the Camry.
Both have great reputation. Honda had transmission issues for the Accord, not the civics.
Presuming that both are in good condition, the Camry has more value since it is a more expensive car to begin with.
If you are not concern with the cost, the Camry is slightly bigger (mid size sedan) but has less mpg than the Civic.
If you want to save money, then the Civic (compact car) cost less to own and to operate.
They both share SUPPLIERS like aisin or aisin warner trannies, and use the same brake and ocmponent suppliers as well! Get the one with a TIMING CHAIN and the CLEANEST looks under the valve cover! Look for brown or crusty deposits here, and realize it may need a full engine cleaning to protect it from ruing vital engienparts! Get teh one you FEEL the best in as mechanically thay can't be faulted! My preference is for the TOYOTA as they have the longest best records out there! Some HONDA automatics broke for several years, and they sold them to GM for the SATURN VUE< and mmany self destructed!
When considering any used automobile it's the vehicle's service and maintenance history that is most important. Do the sellers of these vehicle have proof of maintenance records? If not there could be a risk. Otherwise, both the Honda and Toyota have equally good quality reliability records.
With used cars it is all about condition. I would take the lower mileage, later model year car in a heartbeat. Assuming it checks out in good mechanical condition.
2007 Toyota Camry
If you want fuel economy, the Civic is the best choice. As for every other category, the Camry is a better choice. I'm surprised it's only a grand more than the Civic. Both will hold their value because of their excellent reputations. Neither is perfect, however, for a big 2007 Camry problem is excessive oil consumption, and the 2006 Civic has problems with cracked engine blocks. The Camry it clearly the better choice here, enjoy your new car.
- Which car faster? Honda civic si vs Lexus is300 vs lexus is250 vs toyota camry? Mainly speaking for something that has a little *** when you drive it down the highway and sounds like your pushing 500hp haha… Mainly just for looks but which car is faster or even sounds faster?
- Toyota Camry vs honda civic? Which would be better and why? I'm looking for reliability and fuel economy. Just need a daily driver to go to school back and forth. Going from NJ to PA 3 times a week, so I would be putting decent mileage on it. Have about 1500 to spend so it would more than likely be a 90s car.
- Honda civic vs Toyota Camry? I'm saving up for a car and I have about 600 so far. I'm only a junior but I plan to have atleast 5000 saved up by the end of my junior year if I work a lot. I want to get a car for about 3-3500 and I've heard civics and camrys are reliable and good with gas. I either want a 2003 civic or 2002 Camry, which one is better? And is there anyway I could get one for under 4000?
- Which car is better, toyota camry or honda accord if you plan to travel a lot? I'm trying to decide between the two. They look very similar. But in the end I would like a more reliable, stronger, resilient car that can withstand a lot of driving because I plan to travel with it. Which one is better quality and more resilient/stronger in the end?
