2012 Nissan Altima 2.5S or 2012 Civic EX?
I know these cars aren't exactly on the same category (mid size vs compact size) but I got approved for a loan from a car dealership and I have to decide between these two cars. I've been hearing about about how the 2012 civics are "Honda's worst mistake" because of its cheap quality and engine power. But it's really fuel efficient which is what I need because my work commute is 40 miles round trip daily. Now the Nissan Altima I've heard has great room (since it's a midsize) and is still pretty fuel efficient even though the engine is a bit bigger. Altima seems nice, but I heard the CVT is really annoying and hard to get used to but I'll have to admit the honda's 5 speed auto trans with VTEC is kind of winning me over. Which one would be the better? Honda is also known to have "long lasting engines" but my friend has a 2005 Altima 2.5S and that one is a beauty to drive. I know it ultimately comes to what I like but some convincing from both vehicle owners would help.

Nissan is 10000000000000000000000 better than Honda. I have both
- Looking to buy a 2002 Nissan Altima is reliable? This would be my first car I'm buying I've been saving up for a while so I went to a Honda dealership and they had the 2002 Altima for $5995 it comes with a 12,000 mile warranty and 2 years free service, and a free tire rotation it has 98k miles on it I want to know is this a good deal or should I avoid it?
- I just bought a 2011 Nissan Altima 2.5s with 160,000 miles on it? I just bought this car two days ago, it looks and drives perfect. I know that is a lot of miles but as long as the rental company kept up with maintenance it should have many more miles on it. Can I put another 50k-100k more miles on it in the future? Are Nissan Altima's up to par with Honda/Toyota?
- Nissan Altima (2015) vs Toyota Camry (2014.5) vs Nissan Sentra (2015). Which is best ride on the market now? I'm looking to buy a new car 0.0% financing and these are the only companies that offer 0.0% financing on new and old cars. ( i know honda civic is great but they offer 0.9% finance). I want a car that is a smooth ride, fuel effecient and car that will last me a long time. Overall, a good car. These are my top three cars NISSAN ALTIMA, TOYOTA CAMRY and NISSAN SENTRA? which one do you guys think is the best? i'm open to suggestions…
- Can a 2015 honda civic keep up with a nissan altima? Lets say both drivers where two on the freeway, one guy driving a 2015 honda civic and the other one driving a 1998 altima. The driver of the 1998 altima is speeding around 100-105 mph @3500 rpms only. My question is could a honda civic keep up with the old altimas performance? I'm asking bc since the civic isn't in the same class as the altima, i'm wondering how the new civic would do aganisnt the old altima. The altima itself in great mechanical condtion.
