2015 Mustang V6 or 2013 Mustang GT?
All spoiled rich kid comments aside, I have been saving money for 2 years and it is time for me to get a new car. Just taking a public survey, but should I get a 2015 Mustang V6, or a 2013 Mustang GT? Both cars are right in my price range. I'm driving a honda civic now so either car will be a dramatic increase power for me. The 2015 styling is awesome, but the 2013 still looks good and i would have the intense power of a V8! I need help deciding!
I would save a little longer and get the 2015 GT. Styling aside, the main reason to get the new model over the old is the independent euro-tuned suspension. There's a HUGE difference in handling.
You will kick yourself for settling for a V6 in that car. The Ecoboost 4 would even be more preferable to me.
Don't forget the check your insurance rate before you purchase. I don't know how old you are, but assuming you are under 25 you could be in for quite a shock going from 140 horsepower sedan to a 300+ horsepower coupe.
Go talk you your insurance agent first. I believe you'll find that your insurance rates on EITHER Mustang will go up tremendously.
I would say go for the v6. I'm was also 19 when I got my first mustang and I also upgraded from my old 07 civic. The reason is the v6 has great power, but not so much that it is overwhelming and stressful. In my v6, I hit 80 mph really quick, why bother paying for extra gas and higher insurance to get to that same speed about 1 second faster. With the gt, you will be tempted to spin out when turning in an intersection, you will hit 100 mph without even noticing it, and you will be in a lot of stress from the possibility of theft if you park in an apartment parking lot or school lot. The v6, the 2015 had a better suspension and better looking interior. If I were you, I would even consider the i4 ecoboost, it will also pack a punch, even slightly more than the v6.
- Insurance cost on a 6 cylinder 2015 mustang? My parents are willing to help me buy a new car and I really want the 5.0 but The insurance would probably be more than the monthly payments for the car itself. I'm 17 btw I don't want to hear( Get a used car, Buy a honda, Etc) I don't want anything else So Please don't answer with anything else other than what my question pertains to please Would it be cheaper if I got the eco boost 4 cyclinder It the V6? Any input would be great thanks!
- Will 2013-2015 Honda Accord Sport 18 wheels fit on my 2014 Accord LX? So I would like to get some OEM Honda Accord sport wheels on my LX but will I be able to just simply switch them? As far as I'm concerned they should but should I worry that the sport Tire is 1.5" larger in diameter and the rim is 2" larger?
