2016 Honda Civic Leak?
Just went to get my oil changed at 51,000 miles and they said there's an oil pan leak but can't find where it's coming from. Anyone experienced the same issue? I'm going to the dealership tomorrow but would like to get some feedback.
Then don't buy a honda. Japanese products are always poor quality.
That is pretty low mileage for an oil pan leak. My vehicle has 184,000 miles and is 25 years old and doesn't leak from the oil pan itself.
Might want to find a mechanic you can actually trust to find out of that diagnosis is legit.
Valve cover gasket or the oil pressure warning light sending unit are common oil leakers.
What they probably said was there's oil on the pan, and we don't know where it's coming from. The only way it could be the pan leaking would be if some dunce changing the oil screwed the plug in the wrong direction and wrecked the threads.
