3 of my cars are Shutting Down Randomly?

I have 3 separate cars Mazda 6 2005, VW Jetta 2006, Honda Civic 2005 LX. All have the same problem they shut off randomly. I changed the fuel pump on both the Civic and the Mazda and it made them work for a little bit but then the problem occurred again. I replaced the spark plugs on the Mazda and it worked for about 1 drive about 2 miles long, then I tried running it again and it just kept shutting off. Need help as soon as possible. I really don't think its a fuel pump, or the spark plugs, I also tested the connections to the spark plugs to see if they were delivering spark and they all were.

If you buy fuel for all your cars at the same place it may be bad fuel or water in the fuel tank. Drain some fuel from the fuel line at the fuel pump into a clear container and see if it looks cloudy or separated.

  • Why is my Honda Civic shutting off while driving? I have a 2000 Honda Civic Ex… Recently I was driving and in the middle of driving, my car shuts off, all my gauges go down and took a while to crank back up. My battery light turned on, so I replaced the battery, thought maybe the battery was old and needed changing, thought maybe that was it. Well it didn't help, it still will shut off and the battery light is still on. Could it be the altinator? Suggestions are much appreciated.
  • Why does my car keep shutting off? I have a 1994 Honda civic. Sometimes when I start my car up, right after I start it up it like dies/shuts off. I then start it again and it's fine, every time it will start on the 2nd time, but it doesn't always shut off on the first time. Does anyone know why it does this?
  • Why does my car engine rev up and down? It revs up and down all the way up to 3x rpm and down? Also when i step on the gas pedal it revs up all the way to the top 8x rpm and stays right there even when i let go of the gas pedal. Please anyone who can tell me why this happens? This is a 1995 honda civic by the way
  • Rear window 2001 honda civic rear windows only go down 3/4 way down? My brother just bought a 2015 honda crv and his rear windows only go down 3/4 way down. Is this the way honda makes its cars where rear windows only go down 3/ way down electric. Why do they do this? Do other car makers make cars that rear windows don't go down all the way or is it honda. Why does honda do this?
