Added (1). I bought antifreeze at a gas station in a hurry without reading the label. It mentioned that it worked best for certain models but did not mention Hondas at all. Is it okay to use in my car?

50/50 is the Standard mix for All Water Cooled engines. Summer & Winter.
If you're doing a drain and fill I'd have no problem with it. Do you realize that Advance Auto sells their antifreeze that is compatible with all makes of antifreeze?
If it says it is silicate free you can probably get away with it, but it isn't as good as the real thing. If it has silicates it will significantly shorten the water pump life; Hondas hate silicates.
- If in the owners manual it says I should use 5W-20 motor oil, can I use 10W-40 motor oil instead? I have a 2009 Honda Fit. I just recently bought 10W-40 and when I got home to put oil in the manual said 5W-20. What's the difference? And is it okay if I still use the 10W-40?
