5000k or 6000k HID lights on my 2009 Honda Civic Sedan?
How do i go about installing an HID or even LED kit on my headlights legally? I want bright pure white, but I don't know the difference between 5000k or 6000k. How can I legally get HID (white) headlights? And what is the difference between 5000k and 6000k?
If you car came with halogen, there's NO way to retrofit HID bulbs into the existing assembly. You would need headlight assemblies certified for HID or LED bulbs. Read this post on why you can't do it.

- Is it safe to put an HID bulb 6000k or 8000k on my current HID that is 4300k? I'm not sure what heat is my stock HID but I'm assuming It's 5000k or 4300k since it is still bright yellow and not on the bluish side. I was wondering do I just buy the d4s bulb? Or do I have to get a kit? What are the avaerage prices and are some of them bad quality ones? I don't know anything about lights I'm certainly not going to change em myself but have someone do it. This is for 2013 honda crz ex model low beam
- 2009 Honda Fit or 2009 Honda Civic? My grandma is getting a new car. She has had a black 1995 jetta for years now. She wants to get a honda. What would you think would be good for an old lady? Should it not be a honda?
- Right Headlight went out. I replaced both with 6k hid lights. Hid kit components are all brand new. Right headlight still didn't turn on? It's 91 Honda Civic sedan. Every other light works except that one headlight that isn't turning on as if it wasn't getting any current or something. High beams don't turn it on either.
- My 2009 honda civic lx sedan won't start or turn on? I just brought a 2009 honda civic lx from my neighbor and I like the car now it needs a fee repairs so I can't drive it just yet but when I went to start it up and listen to the radio it wouldn't turn on or start… What could be the problem?
