91' honda civic hatchback engine swap?
I was wondering what is the best possible engine to put into my hatchback. I'm looking for something that I can turbo and have lots of torque and HP. I'm trying to change my car into a sleeper meaning looks stock on outside and all the goods inside thanks ahead of time for your help and serious answers please no BS

You need to do a lot of research before wanting a swap if you do not even know the Honda engine codes. To start you can google the engines below.
b16 - b18 - h22 - f22 - k20 - k24.
- I have a 97 Honda Civic Ex engine Swap from a 99 to 2000 honda Si? I would like to know if i can fit a b16a2 i believe? Engine to my 97 civic without any modifications? Because i just want to take out the current engine and place the SI engine in a quick simple manner.
- Can a 16.L engine fit into a 1998 Honda Civic LX? (before doing engine swap)? I had an blown motor on my 1998 Honda Civic LX, I have new spark plugs, distributor cap and some other items, however, since the old spark plugs happened to be melted as well, I have no option other to do a engine swap. I've been doing some research, and it seems like I only have the 1.6L engine as a option. By the way, the blown motor is a D16Y8, and is automatic.
- What engines can I directly swap my D16y8 Honda motor for? It has to be more powerful and easy to swap? I have a civic with a d16y8 and its served me well but what motor could I easily swap in? I want to use the same gearbox but I don't mind swaping the ECU. The easier the swap and the more HP the better. Would prefer to use the stock manifold and intake etc.
- On average how much horsepower would a short-ram intake give my 1991 honda civic hatchback? (engine: D15b7)? Just wondering how much horsepower a short-ram intake would give my civic, I know it depends on the quality of the intake i'm just wanting an estimate.
