92 Honda Civic ex over heating?

So I had a coolant hose break and replaced the hose and when driving normal I.e 25-3mph is stays at a normal temperature but the moment I go up and hill and put it under stress temperature goes up high. Any ideas?

Yeah, fill the radiator with anti freeze.

Bad thermostat, bubble in the system, no coolant, or bad water pump.
