94 honda civic lx, new batt, drove 2 miles died, won't re start, someone said distributor? Any thoughts?

Can't find engine size to price part either, can it be anything else?

Does it turn over / attempt to start?
Are you getting fuel? Is it reaching the cylinder? (After attempting to start car, remove a spark plug, bottom of it should be wet with fuel).
Does it have spark? Are you getting power to the distributor?
Does it have compression?
Does the alternator charge the battery?

There's some things you need to find out first, rather than throwing money at it without knowing what the problem is. It may or may not be the distributor, don't rely on someone's comment if it hasn't even been tested.

It was low in gas, we were going to get gas, we added gas & still won't go, ok, ill replace filter, was going to do so anyhow & look into the pump

Fuel. As in pump or fuel filter

First off: Use this decoder to find out the engine size for the Civic: Get the VIN number from the car, not the Insurance card. The VIN on the card might not be correct one due to typo:

The two most notorious failed items for all Honda in the same era are the Main relay and the Ignition switch. Look at this link and the video for the ignition switch, the other things are in the link below:

Ignition switch. It's the same for your 94 Civic:

Video for Ignition switch: Should be the same as your Civic:
