95 honda civic ex alternator belt?
Please help, on my way to work today (I work 3rds) I heard a pop like one of my tires blew, they were fine. However, the battery light came on. The belt running from the alternator broke. How do I replace it, how far can I drive without it. Round about cost…
Serpentine belt. 20-30 bucks at autozone/o'reillys. Take 30 minutes to replace if you know what your doing. Cost over 150 if you have a mechanic do it
Answee to how long can you drive it. Well as l9ng as the battery will last. But if its a serp belt it will probly run aircon power steer and water pump
- Will a alternator from a 91 geo prizm fit in a 86 honda accord? The geo has engine damage and the honda has a dead alternator. I was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me if I pulled the alt from the geo and put it in the honda if it would fit and work. I just need it to work for a few weeks until I could afford a new one. Any help would be appreciated.

- 2003 honda civic lx alternator? Whenever I would turn my heat or anything on I would get a loud squeal from the front. I went and bought a new battery and alternator. I put them in and whenever I turn my lights on it's still going dim while I'm driving down the road it feels like everything is okay. When driving if I turn the heat on I get a loud squeal from the front. I also get it when at a stop idling and when I press on the accelerator it gets louder and then cuts out. Any ideas?
