A/C Blowing Hot Air! (Honda Civic DX 1998)?
So the a/c on the car is strong it blows alot of air except is Warm/Hot air instead of COLD AIR! And since it is an old car i thought maybe it needs a recharge? Or it can be the fan? Because i opened the hood and while the a/c was on the fan seemed not to be working… WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?

Take the car to an A/C place. They'll check for leaks and recharge the system unless there's something else wrong, which they will gladly fix!
You'll need help. To start with: Check all of the fuses if you know how: There's a fuse box under the hood and there are fuse boxes inside of the dash. Check all of the fuses.
It could be the AC system has leak. That was why the AC system does not work, the fan is not running is the sign that the system has malfunctioned: It could be just a fuse or a relay or it could be anything else.
Does the AC compressor kicks in? Get the car to the nearest repair facility and get an estimate of repair. Why bother to ask when you've known nothing about car or AC system for that matter?
- I have a 2015 Honda rancher that had a crack in the air box. It got so much dirt through the air filter it got into my piston. So it now Burns oil and I was wonder will it ever stop smoking. I know I have to rebuild the engin so don't even say it. And how long will it take before it losses power.
- Why does AC quit cooling on 2011 Honda CRV? Seems to be working fine- then hot air? The wife complained yesterday- so I checked ut. Its has freon in it. Pressure check was in the green. Blowing cool. Again today she calls- it started blowing hot air again. Could it be something beside the compressor?
- My 07 Honda civic type r a/c is blowing warm air out. I've had it regassed at halfords? When I start the ac I hear the fan start and the click. The wheel is spinning the fan is spinning the blades look good condition. Anything else I can check myself with out taking it to the garage.
- 2012 Honda Civic blows out hot air? So I have this problem when I driving and the air conditioning is not on I feel heat coming out of the vents. I usually notice this when the windows are down but i usually keep the temperature knob on cold. The car has 50 thousand miles. Any way to make this stop? Its quite annoying when its already 100 degrees outside lol The fan is turned off as well
