Adding turbo to a K24z engine?
I just bought a 2015 honda civic si. Will vtec have a point if I install a turbo?
Does it kick after the turbo or how does that work?
I was thinking of getting a PRL turbo for my civic si.
Yes Vtec will still work and be useful in your case. Adding a Turbo will just ad on to it. Not sure what you mean by kicking after the turbo? You will for sure notice a slight bit of a difference in how your car starts and gets going. Might experience turbo lag that's always fun lol. I'd say keep the turbo out, no point in putting excessive engine wear and oil burnage on your new 2015 car. If you'r looking for a nice turbo'd fun car get a second car and do it in that, please no Hondas though.
- What will adding a cold air intake filter do to my 1997 corolla? Do these things add mpg? Hp? I don't plan on ricing it out I was just wondering. I sometimes see old hondas and toyotas and they have these along with a ridiculous body kits lol.
