Advice on new car audio system?
I own a 1995 Honda civic and the stereo system is modest to say the least, no bass, scratchy when loud. Anyways I want to ask if there are cheap systems out there that replace the whole audio system because all I seem to be finding are specific speakers. Also if you could link me to where I could get them installed and prices I would appreciate it. 10 points
I do know that bestbuy will install them for you well geek squad that works there
There's no drop-in "Honda Civic specific" entire audio system replacement package you can buy. I suggest replacing the factory head unit and all 4 speakers. Use any brand you want, but remember that you get what you pay for. Best Buy does do installations and they also have some combo deals to save you money (buy head unit and speakers get $XXX off your total). For the very cheapest stuff, you're looking at $375-$400 after parts and labor. I'd suggest bumping it up to $500 total.

- How much to install an audio system in my car? My car is a 2001 Honda Civic DX Coupe. I want to replace the stereo and also get subs and an amp. I may also need a sub box. Also, I'm new to audio systems and subs so I'm not sure if I should get a pair of 10's, 12's or just a single 15. My budget is around $250-$350 if that's possible. What would you guys recommend?
- Low cost upgrade for 2005 scion xa audio system? I just bought a 2005 toyota scion xa and the stereo is horrible. No base whatsoever and doesn't go loud at all. I'm looking for a low cost way to upgrade the audio. I don't need anything fancy I just want something half decent. My last car was a 2003 honda accord lx and the stereo in that was just fine for my taste, if that gives any clarity as to what I'm looking for. Hoping to spend less than 200. Any suggestions?
