Mileage is no indicator of a good or bad car. Having 80k miles may be OK, or it may not, it depends entirely on how well the car has been looked after.
My p reg punto has done more then that I wud say check it over drive it, if something doesn't feel right leave it!
Usually nothing over 100k miles as a rule for me
