Any Car/Tuner enthusiast out there?
Hi, I'm fairly new to the whole car scene and am looking around for some information. I just bought a 1990 Honda Civic Wagon and defiantly want to start working with it and modding it out I'm just trying to figure out where to start with it. What aftermarket parts should I be buying and getting on there before others? And also if I wanted to do an engine swap any ideas or suggestions on which engine would be better?
You can't spell "definitely." Defiantly is quite a different thing.
I'm more of a muscle car guy but I like imports too. The B16 VTEC is a popular swap for Hondas.
How about you don't waste your money on a 14-year-old station wagon, but save up for a better car instead.
Depends on your budget. B16 swap would be nice but B-series motors are harder and harder to find. Lower it and get a set of wheels.
Why do you ask…
One day you'll understand there's no sense spending money on a heavy car with a weak four cylinder engine with a timing belt.
- Are there any automatic street bikes? I want to get into riding again. But I don't really want to have to shift to start off. I know of the the Honda VRF1200F but was wondering if there were any others. Or any bikes that have the dual clutch transmission, that would be nice to have so I could learn at my own pace but also have the automatic option. I want an attractive street bike, something along the lines of the Kawasaki Ninjas, and those bikes.
- Why does my 94 honda civic over heat but the oil light comes on there's no leaks any where? My radiator over heats the hoes swells but there's no leaks no smoke coming from anywhere the water in the radiator bubbles up when I take the cap off I even put some stuff in it to help cool it down didn't work. I checked the oil looks fine no werid color to it at all. Its no really over heating the engine is hotter then what its suppose to be
- Is there any car worse than a Honda Civic? Honda Civic's just scream poor people. Also they are very unsafe. They are very unattractive and you never see any Mercedes Benz or BMW's or anything like that on the side of the road broken down do you? Only Honda Civic's and all those cars.
- Is there any car that doesn't get horrible gas milage during accelaration? I Currently drive a 2013 Honda Civic which has a meter in the dashboard that reads from 0-70 MPG with a 35 mark in the middle but it usually goes to 70 when i let off the gas then if i press the gas down even like insanely lightly. It goes to 15 mpg and its hard to tell what its at because it changes so much. So please help if you have any good input on the situation
