Are daughters treated better than sons?
My dad bought my sister a brand new Honda Civic but he told me I have to work for my car. I do more around the house and don't get into trouble so it's not like she deserves to be treated better.
Well does your sister accomplish life and have a job?
Yes, most definitely.
Parents see daughters as the weaker sex
Siblings should be treated equally as much as possible. Does your sister work or attend college and need safe transportation? Look at the big picture - not just at you when trying to determine why she got a car and you didn't (yet).
They are in your family
It's not right, but dads tend to do this with daughter
It's not a favorite thing though
I think they feel like they are teaching their boys to be men
I don't agree with it I argue with my husband about it all the time
He loves the boys and is so proud of them but he has different rules for them than our daughter
