Turbos are universal its just the the major components like the exhaust manifold, dump pipe, intercooler piping, etc are going to be custom made because of the car being 1-2 years old. Turbos are not a thing that would bolt in and work, you will need to prepare the engine for forced induction. You will need to buy low compression pistons, stronger connecting rods, a crankshaft maybe, and you will have to sleeve the block. Even then you will have To upgrade your fuel system as in bigger injectors, and a better fuel pump. Oh that's not all you have to get your car tuned to cope with the turbo! If you want to be in a budget you can fabricate stuff like the exhaust manifold, dump pipe, intercooler piping, etc, and you can go to a junkyard to find a t25 turbo off a Saab or Volvo, or get a td04 turbo from a wrecked Subaru or Mitsubishi.
- Why does my 94 honda civic over heat but the oil light comes on there's no leaks any where? My radiator over heats the hoes swells but there's no leaks no smoke coming from anywhere the water in the radiator bubbles up when I take the cap off I even put some stuff in it to help cool it down didn't work. I'm deciding between the infiniti g35 coupe (05-07) model or the honda civic si coupe (07-09) model. I want the g35 because everyone has a honda civic si and I want to stand out but I want the honda civic si because it is very reliable which is probably why alot of people have one. Will the infiniti last me enough to enjoy it or will it just be a waste of money… Please help
