Best ways to move across the country?

I'm moving from Phoenix Arizona to North Georgia and I need help with ideas. I have a queen mattress and foundation, queen bed frame with headboard and footboard, a 32in flat screen tv, and a Honda civic. These days, many people do not buy used to mattresses, so even though mine is less than a year old I will keep it if I can't sell it. Of course, I can't carry those things on my Civic, so what are your thoughts on how to get my things across the country? Any resources, ideas, tips, are GREATLY appreciated. I'm open to All ideas with shipping/driving my things.

Upack.com will provide you with a small continer, then they truck it there. Cheaper than driving a truck.

The cheapest way to relocate is to drive all your stuff yourself. You could rent a truck and/or trailer from U-Haul, Budget, etc. With big furniture and a car to move, there's no cheap alternative, if that's what you are looking for by "best ways".

  • Honda Shadow Spirit 750 Across Country, Can it make it? I'm planning on taking my Honda Shadow 750 across the US for about a month, maybe even more. Making stops, camping, all that stuff. I changed my sprocket to a 38t and I just wanted to make sure it can make it that length of time and distance without problems. It has about 18,000 miles on it and I will be getting it detailed before the trip. Any advice would be great.
  • Different ways to power my computer? I might be going to this college where the dorms won't allow you to have a power strip for fire safety reasons and I can't do that because I need more than two plugs. I do have a honda 2000 watt portable generator but I doubt that's a good idea. Any idea's?
  • Would my car make it across the country twice? I have a 2016 Honda Civic with 10k Miles on it. The month of April (1-2) I'm going from ny-nj. Then April 3-6 from ny to dc. Then from April 15-17 ny to Chicago. Will my car make it or should I not drive that much in one month?
  • What's a couple of ways to add more power to my 2013 Honda Civic EX? Besides new intake and new exhaust, how much horsepower could I push out of this 1.8L engine without blowing it? What are other ways I can do this?
