Buying a used car. Honda or Hyundai?
I have a 2002 Dodge Neon that I'm ready to sell or trade in. Looking at either getting the 2014 Hyundai Elantra (42,000 miles on it) or the 2012 Honda Civic Coupe (36,000 miles on it). Both are the same price. Advice? Opinions?
Added (1). Either isn't an option. Is one or the other.
Added (2). I meant NEITHER isn't an option. They're only $11,000 and I could pay that in cash right away, so no payments.

I would go with the Hyundai even though it has 6k more miles it's not bad. If you're buying from a dealer see what warranty the car comes with since it's only 2 yrs old.
Which one is in the best condition, as determined by a professional mechanic? There's NO Way anyone here can tell you which is the better car because we can't see it, we can't test drive it, we can't have a mechanic inspect it, and we can't see the Carfax report on it to see if it has been wrecked in the past.
Maybe you shouldn't be buying either car until you know how to really buy a car. Otherwise, you risk making a big mistake.
Honda is generally better than Hyundai but why limit yourself to just 2 cars?
Mazda 3 & 6 are also good cars.

- Is buying a used Toyota, Honda or Mazda car over 100,500 mileage worth it? Or is it too risky? I don't want to buy a car that will die as soon as I get it. I want it too last a while.
- I'd like to buy a used Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V or Hyundai Tucson, Am I better off wit 4wd/Awd or 2wd/Fwd? I live in the suburbs of Chicago and want a small SUV because it sits up high. But the question is am I better off getting an AWD/4WD or a FWD/2WD model? I'm tempted on getting a FWD model to save on gas, insurance and slap on some snow tires in the winter. But I've heard that AWD models hold their value better though.
- Is it possible to trade in a used car for another used car? I bought a 2013 Toyota Yaris about 4 months ago. I bought mainly because it was cheap and fuel efficient. But I realized I don't really like. So I'm have buyers remorse. Is it possible to trade it in for another used car? I was thinking of getting a Honda Civic or a Volkswagen Jetta. How long should I wait to do the trade in?

My other choice is a 2007 or 2008 same model but used from craigslist itll cost me between 2,300-2,500 what's the better buy? How good of a deal is this
