Can I put rim size 195/65/r15et47 on Honda civic 195/65/r15 46?

Because it's you. I'm gonna say YES!
OK, first of all make sure the PCD (wheel lug nut hole spacing diameter) and the no. Of holes is the same (5 x 114.3 from memory - maybe 4x114.3 depending what year your civic is) and the centre bore of the new rim must be the same as your hub. If it's too big the wheel will be hanging off the bolts which will be under incredible load and may fail. Modern wheels are usually designed to hang off the hub (ie. Hub-centric). If the centre bore is too small, the wheel won't go on. The 46/47 number refers to the offset of the wheel. Offset is the distance between the inner mounting face of the rim to the centreline of the wheel. You have a 1mm difference, so it's unlikely to be a problem unless the new rims are hella wide. I'm hoping you will fit the same size wheel to each corner, not have an "odd" on one corner. Anything that potentially affects the stability of your car can come back to bite you if you have an accident. But saying that, it's doubtful you or anyone else will notice the difference.

Hi so i see you have your facts wrong as it is either a series 40 or 50. And that is an illegal tire.

  • What tire size will fit 17x9 rim? I have a 2015 Honda Civic Si Sedan and I bought varrstoe rims that are 17x9 but don't know what tire size will fit in my vehicle.
  • Rim and tire fitting on honda? Alright so I just got some xxr 527 rims their 18 I forgot the exact dimensions but it's pretty deep and I went on a website (carid.com) and it said it wouldn't fit I got a 2013 accord coupe ex-L v6 but I know there's people that can make it fit adjusting things and what not but I wanna know what would have to be done and how much it would be by doin it your self or to pay some one thanks
  • Can I put sized 195/65R15 tires on the front of my 2000 honda accord lx coupe V6 if the back tires are 205? I need new tires and I already have a 195 and it would save me so much more money if I could just go buy another one, but I don't want to do it if it's going to be detrimental to my car overall. The back tires are still the stock size, I'd only be changing the front tires.
