Can you trade in your car if you still owe money on it?

I own a 2009 Honda civic but I want to trade it for a 2004 Mustang Mach 1

You sure can, as long as the loan gets paid off in the process it's no problem. Car dealers do this sort of trade all the time. Hopefully the car is worth more than what you owe on it. If you upside down on your loan then you will have to put up some extra cash to make the trade work.

  • How long does it take for loan max to repossess your car after your loan due date in Ohio? I took out an $800 title loan on my 2000 Honda Oddyssey (188,000 miles) and I can't make the initial repayment amount of $288 on time. How long will it be before they send someone out to repossess my car? I live in Ohio and I'm really afraid they will repossess it before I can come up with the cash.
  • Is it a good idea to trade in your car at a dealership? I own a 2009 Honda Civic, I still owe money on it, I want to trade it in for a cheaper car because the other car cost $14,000. I was looking for gas mileage so I wouldn't mind trading it in for an older Honda Civic or something similar that gets good gas mileage. Is this a smart idea? If I do go through with it I would have my 2009 Honda Civic taken to a place to have the interior and exterior restored

  • How do you increase your MPG on your car? I got 60mpg in my Honda Civic recently for 100 miles by coasting downhill and increasing air in tires by 5psi. How do you do it?
