Car Insurance for 16 year old?
I'm 16 and looking to get a drivers license. I have good grades in school. I'm looking to lease a 2017 Honda Civic LX. I'm probably gonna be under my parents on their insurance policy. How much do you think my insurance would cost? And please give me an actual number.
For an actual number you need to post your name, SSN, address, sex, age, how long you have been licensed, car VIN, lien, driver record, you parents' SSNs, their driver records, how long they have been driving, how many miles/year you will be driving, why you are driving.
If you lie about anything, when you crash they will check and will not pay you.
Leasing a car is utterly foolish, especially with a teenager behind the wheel who is certainly (not maybe, CERTAINLY) going to do so much damage to the car before the lease is up that the back end costs of getting out of the lease will cost thousands extra. Not only that, you'll spend enough on insurance that in 5 years time, if you didn't drive, you will have saved enough money to purchase a brand new car for cash. For a new driver, the only smart choice is a Honda Civic (or similar car) that is between 5 and 10 years old. Drive it for a couple of years and onbly then think about getting something newer, and certainly not before you have a reasonable income to support it.
You realize there's less than a zero percent chance of leasing a vehicle at 16?
Can't even own a vehicle until you are 18.
Can't lease a vehicle without work history and excellent credit…
Keep dreaming.
No one but an insurance company can give you an actual accurate number and you aren't leasing **** at the tender age of 16 nor are you getting a quote for insurance. Your mommy and daddy will be leasing (for some stupid reason) that brand new car and paying an arm and a leg in insurance premiums so you can drive it.
You have to have reached your majority before you can be bound by a contract so obviously you can't lease or finance a vehicle.
First at 16 you can't lease anything.
Many leases prohibit drivers under 25 driving the car. A lease is a form of rental!
As for a real number you need to get your parents to talk to their agent.
At 16 you can't insure it yourself as yiu can't sign a contract.
There are so many factors.
Be prepared you have an 85% or better chance of crashing it in the first year. Insurance companies know this.
Nope, that's not how it works in here. Nobody does insurance estimates in here, because it's not allowed in here.
You would need to provide a lot more information to get an actual insurance quote, and don't. 95% of that information is highly confidential, and this place is highly not. You need to call up an insurance broker or six and ask them, no exceptions. Most of those compare-the-market websites are total bull shift, and at least 30% of them are fraud sites that will sell your info to the highest bidder.
It isn't possible for anyone to give you a number because you don't give all the many factors required to get an accurate quote.
You can't lease a car at 16.
There's no way on earth that anyone but an insurance company can tell you what insurance might cost you. At age 16, you can't lease a car on your own or buy insurance anyway without written permission from your parent or legal guardian. And… You can't be "under" your parents policy or anyone else's policy. Except for a rare fleet policy, each vehicle in the USA must have it's own policy.
Are you sure that your 16 year old brain isn't just dreaming?
The only one that can insure you is your folks. You won't be leasing anything, your folks will have to lease it for you. You must be over 18 and have a good job to lease a vehicle. No one here can give you a quote, the folks insurance provider is where you go to get those numbers.
- 1980 honda cb750 insurance cost for 18 year old? I'm planning on getting a honda cb550-750 from 1970-1980 to turn into a cafe racer. Without doing any quotes, can anyone give a reasonable estimate on insurance cost? It won't be daily driven, little miles per year, and is over 25 years old. Also I'm 18, but can it be insured under my father and I can still use it?
- Is it normal for someone to still drive a 20-year-old car? I still see dozens of 20-year-old Hondas and Toyotas every day. Is it a Japanese car thing to last that long or is it normal? I want to get a 20-year-old car soon.
- Is buying a 12 year old car a bad idea? So I have 4 thousand dollars saved up and found a 07 Honda for sale with 145,000 miles. Should I buy or put my money into something newer? ok I was wanting to buy a car and not have a monthly payment but I don't want to waste my money. It took me a year and a half to save this
- How old of year of forks from a CRF450R fit my 2015 450? I have a 2015 honda 450, looking to buy the standard style spring forks off of an older bike. Does anyone know what years would fit?
