Car louder than normal
I have a 2008 Honda civic manual and my friends have been telling me it sounds louder than normal. Now that I pay attention to it, it is a bit louder when going faster. I'm planning on taking it to a mechanic in the weekend but does anyone know what's up?
You have a hole in your exhaust
Change the oil and check for an exhaust leak.
Start it up and with it idling, walk around it and see if you can hear any exhaust leaks.
- Make an automatic motorcycle louder? I'm interested in motorcycles and I have been looking at the Honda NM4. My main concern is how quiet it is, If I'm on the road I want to be as noticeable as possible to avoid any accidents, so is there anyway to make it louder?

- Why does my car get unusually good gas mileage than normal? It's a 98 Honda Civic. I do 2 hours of Combined city and highway driving for 5-6 days a week. I kinda have a heavy foot, the rims are 1" bigger than stock and the car is due for it's next tune up this coming Monday. The car is rated at 28mpg combined when it was shiny back in 1998, and when I calculated mine i got 32 mpg combined, my calculation isn't wrong either as i have an mpg calculator
