Car overheats need advice?
So I got a 2001 Honda Civic the guy I bought it from said it had a new radiator and rebuilt engine bought it for 2400 in March was gonna pay him the 200 later but anyways in May I went to Anaheim and that's when my car started overheating for some odd reason took it in ended up needing a new thermostat and the fans blew out hot and cold got that fixed but also there was a leak mechanic said it could be the gasket. Anyway 3 week ago got into a fender bender had to get a lot of new things including a new radiator! My car still overheats yet the mechanic can't figure out why cuz ever time they test it it's fine! Could it be the water pump
Only an idiot would sign over a car title to another person with out being paid in full. That being said I'll bet they were not very smart when they got the motor replaced either! A mechanic that can't repair an over heating motor isn't a mechanic… It's a high school drop out lube boy!
- How long before my bike overheats? I plan on going on a 120 Mile trip tomorrow on a Honda CB300F. It's not the biggest or fastest bike, but it's my first and I was wondering if the bike could possibly over heat or get damaged at all by me staying at about a solid 70 MPH. Everything is stock about the bike
- I need advice of driving up and down mountains for the first time? So I'm going on a tip to big bear this Friday and i need a little advice because it's my first time. I'm think of either taking a new 2014 hybrid honda insight or a 2006 Nissan Altima. My Nissan. Front brakes have been changed almost two weeks ago but I didn't change the backs. I'm not even sure if the hybrid can go up te mountains. So can someone please give me any help?
- I need some advice on a horse trailer situation? My dad has just bought a Honda CR-V. It can tow up to 2 tonnes. We're looking to buy a horse trailer but we're not sure about whether to get a single or double trailer. Could our car tow a double trailer with 2 15hh horses in it? Or if needs be, we would get a single one as we only have 1 horse anyway, but a double one would be more suitable but we don't mind.
- My honda overheats above 65 mph? So, I bought this car a week ago. It was sitting in a garage for about a year. It has 135k on a rebuilt motor. It has the d15b1 motor. It's a 1989 civic ef hatchback. Question being; whenever I'm on the highway or going up a hill, even I my car doesn't have allt of weight and I go to pass, the motor goes hot. Would this sound like a thermostat? I'm running water in it right now.
