Chances of an 1989 honda civic honda hatchback getting stolen?

What are the chances

I'd say they're pretty low, as long as you don't make a habit of leaving it unlocked in a bad neighborhood at night with the keys hanging in the ignition. It's 25 years old, and it's probably not a high demand vehicle for most car thieves.

Depends on where you live and what's the car has(aftermarket motor, stereo, rims, etc.). If it's bone stock chances are pretty low.

  • Where should I start in getting my 1989 Honda VTR250 to run again? It was running when it was stored 10 years ago. I want to get it running again. Battery is an obvious but where should I start? Do you think it will need any major/ expensive repairs? I've been told it should easily get running with a bit of work, what exactly does that mean?
  • Why isn't my 1989 honda vtr 250 getting a spark? I just bought a 1989 honda vtr 250 it has a strong crank like it wants to start but won't start. The battery was bad so I had to use a bigger battery from my dad's motorcycle and it would crank stron but still nothing. We took out the spark plug and put it in the wire and held it near frame and no spark at all while cranking, could it be a bad ignition coil, rectifier, or stator or what?
  • My car was stolen, what are the chances of me getting it back? My 2011 Honda civic was stolen out of my garage Thursday night. The keys were in the car and I had accidentally left the garage door up (I think it malfunctioned when I put it down Thursday evening and didn't check.) I've reported it and done everything now I'm just waiting for a call…
  • Is it a bad idea to buy a stock 1989 Honda Civic SI? It has 179000 miles on it, has a new clutch, and looks great. Hes asking 1900. http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/cto/4590735246.html
