Changed spark plugs and now car won't start?
I have a 2002 honda civic dx, stock engine. I changed my spark plugs yesterday, same brand and number plugs, and ot ran fine for the day, then i go to start it today anf it will turn over but will not start, my gauges will shake, and my odometer says Trip AB 000000 which ove never seen before, any ideas?
The vehicle has run well for a day after the spark plugs replacement so I do not think that you did anything wrong on your part. The no start problem, however may be related to the Odometer incorrect reading.
Have you had the charging system checked out? It could be a weak battery that was not turning the engine over fast enough. Was the battery light on or blinking? Try a jump start and see if the engine run. If not, it could be spark or fuel problem. Try this video:
Is there any light lit up on the dash cluster? Have you tried to have the code(s) read out; Even the was no light lit up on the dash? What was the code? Electronic/ Electrical failure sometimes will have a failed code store in the PCM.
Can you remove the dash cluster by yourself? Was the dash cluster OEM or has been changed? If you have a cluster made by Visteon Corporation, replace cluster with a known proper functioning one. There was an extreme amount of problems/failures with these clusters, compared to the OEM ones made by Nippon Seiki. There's a sticker on the cluster back side will tell which one was the manufacture. This is how:

It started making loud noises in the morning and seems to be running rough like not accelerating as fast as before. I have read that Honda uses NGK iridium tip with 120k mile rating. So should I wait til 120k miles?

It will sound like it's almost about to start but not. Then get progressively weaker each pull. I changed the spark plug and cleaned the air filter. Any ideas?
