Did I damage my car by forgetting the emergency brake was on while backing up?

Yesterday I was backing out of a parking spot that was in a slight inclune. The car backed up a bit but there was a car coming so I stopped. Once the car passed I continued to step on the gas to reverse but the car wouldn't move. I took my foot off and pushed it again. Maybe did this two more times before I realized my emergency brake was on. My question is did I damage anything by doing this? I have an automatic transmission and the car is a 08 Honda Civic hybrid.

No you didn't even wear down the e-brake by driving with the brake on.
Perhaps you should look at the dash lights more often. I'm sure that bright red light that spells out "BRAKE" was on!

You should be fine.

Not really, you caused a bit of wear on the brakes and clutch.

No, you didn't hurt it any, it should be fine since you didn't take off driving with it engaged.

Shouldn't be a problem.

Not at all.

Yes. If the car was moved at all while the parking brake was applied then you may have caused serious damage to your parking brake system. This could result in total failure of the parking brake and or ruin/ warp your rotors. Your best option is to take it to a shop and replace the brakes and rotors.

No - nothing to be concerned about at all

I don't know
