Buy the kit as it will have the necessary seals with it.
If it's the front, just a wheel bearing and a retainer, the rear is a hub & bearing assembly.
- How to know if i'm going to need a carburetor repair kit for my 9hp engine? I'm not the most mechanically inclined but i've come to the conclusion that i need to clean my small engine's carburetor (Honda 9hp gx270) to get it running. So my question is: how do i know if i'm going to need a carburetor repair kit (ie the ones on ebay ect.). What i'm hoping for is to clean it without needing the repair kit.
- Wheel bearing. Which side? I have a 2004 Honda civic LX and i was wondering which side is the back of the bearing and which side is the front that faces the outside? There's a black side and a silver side on each.
- Is my right rear wheel bearing bad? I have a 2001 Honda civic coupe LX. I was driving yesterday when my right rest tire started making a clicking/clacking noise while driving. As soon as the car starts to move, the noise starts. I researched and I found that it could be my wheel bearing. I jacked the car up, and spun the tire and it made the exact same noise as it did yesterday. Is that the wheel bearing causing the noise?
- Do I need a lost motion assembly? I have a Honda civic 96. With a d16z6 block and had a y8 head before but have a z6 head thats gonna be going in. And I bought one with no LMA. (Lost motion assembly) so was kinda skeptical. Didn't really know if I really need it. Do I? What does it do with it? Can I ride with no LMA? What will it stop if I don't have one.
