Does header makes car sound louder?
I have a Honda civic ex,
I have a straight pipe 2inch or 2 1/2 cat back exhausted with a megna flow muffler, with stock cat. I was wondering if I get headers for my car will it be louder then before or high dp or will get pull over quicker?

- Which air filter makes more sound? I've honda stunner. And installed conical air filter, it is 2-3 inches long than K&N RC-1060. Do small filters make more sound or my one makes more sound? And one more thing… I've removed air filter box. What to do with pipes which were attached to it for some air intake or i don't know what those pipes are for.
- Will a 2 exhaust header fit a 2.25 downpipe? I drive a 2001 honda civic sedan model DX. D17A1 engine. I'm looking to get aftermarket headers and an exhaust system. The exhaust system I want has 2.25" piping, But I can't find any headers that match that piping diameter that will fit my model. I need help from someone with more experience to know if the downpipe and header need to have the same diameter piping or if the gaskets will fit despite different sizes. Any help is greatly appreciated!

- My honda civic 04 automatic makes a rattle like sound when I turn the key off? I noticed that when i turn the key to the off position some where under my streering wheel I can here a little rattle like sound. It last about 1- 2 seconds (i hear the usual normal cooling down sound the engine makes after I turn it off. So I don't think its the engine cooling down ) Any ideas what it could be?
