Does liking the way a car looks one of the reason to make you buy it?

My sister wants a 2019 Civic Hatchback Touring. She also said it look like a cool car to own because her boyfriends friend owns one and she loves how it has DRL and feels luxurious inside.

She is now going to Honda tthis weekend to negotiate. I mean we all buy cars for different reasons, family, storage, towing, reliability, but looks?

Its the reason your sister wants to buy it

Somewhat.

What about the chassis itself?

The interior should be grabbing people's attention.

No way, and definitely not for a lowest bidder manufacturer

Of course it is ONE of the reasons. You're not going to buy a car that you think is Ugly, right? But you should NEVER buy a car based only on looks. I see a few very nice looking Jeeps that never move because of Transmission or Wiring problems. Honda makes a Better than Average car. Not all models are stellar but all are good.

Yes, to a degree. Certainly with Motorcycles.

And, I'm talking Both condition and styling. I prefer chrome, polished Al, and spokes to a blacked-out motor and solid wheels.

Yes many people buy cars because of the way they look or make them feel, your sister is no different. Live with it!

Looks has worked for Ford for more than a century.
