Get a car break in kit basically a wedge to spread the door window open enough to slide in an inflatable bag like a blood pressure cuff pump it up you can now easy reach through the big opening with the metal rod and either push the electric lock or pull the handle.

Brand name big easy.

What about the trunk? Have you tried that?

  • Honda Civic 2013 - Key lock? So I got into an accident back in August. Before that the actual keys (NOT THE REMOTE) worked fine. But after the accident, the rear driver side door had to be replaced completely. I, like most people, don't really use the actual key to get in/out of my car. I use the remote. But I was wondering what I can do to get the actual key fixed/programmed properly? Should I go back to the dealership and ask them to fix it? If so, any idea how much that would cost? Any suggestions would be helpful!

The button that controls the front passenger window will not work from drivers master switch i replaced it with a new master switch after market but problem still exsist. If you use the button on the front passenger door the window will go up and down. What could the problem be. Could it be the connection plug to the master switch? The other 3 buttons will work on switch.
  • 1991 Honda Civic DX Hatchback with key/lock issues Bought this car last week. So far having problems but keeping hope. One key to the car but it doesn't work for any of the doors, the trunk, and works in the ignition with some jiggling and pressing the brake usually helps. Is it a bad key? Jammed locks from rust/water? It fits into the keyhole but not turn, honda owners where can I start?
